Where Are The Good Minisite Designers At? February 17, 2008 17:44:22My dear friend Kidino (one of my VERY first online friends from when I get started in this business) has created a new site called…
www.MiniSiteGallery.com
This is going to be a huge site featuring kick butt mini sites. We all need those to sell our products online.
However, to really get it started, he’s holding a $500 Design Contest…
Got what it takes?
Here’s the scoop on the contest…
To get MiniSiteGallery.com off the ground, I am running a design contest for mini-site designers.
There no secret that I need more mini site template designs for the gallery. So that is why I am doing this contest. But you as the contestants can expect huge traffic and exposure coming your way as a result of this contest.
And apart from that, you can also expect MiniSiteGallery.com to grow into one of the most popular website template download gallery on the WWW.
I am putting aside my own $500. And I hope I can gather more from sponsors (write to me about sponsoring this contest - kidino[at]moneyclicking[dot]net).
I believe I have said enough. So here are the details about the contest.
Last Entry Date: 29 February 2008 (entries after this date will not be included for the contest)
To enter the contest, just head over to www.minisitegallery.com/contest
I personally can’t wait to see the gorgeous designs that come out of this site!

There’s the link man, now call of the bunny…
Seriously though… Big Jason has a ton of great information on his blog. He knows more about SEO, online and offline marketing than most of these self proclaimed gurus running around here do.

HotlinkALARM Stymies Image Hotlinkers and Digital January 19, 2008 04:37:01Hotlink ALARM is a powerful software tool that alerts users via email when their website graphics and digital property are being used without authorization by image hotlinkers and product thieves.
“It gives the advantage back to honest owners of online businesses who’ve been plagued for years by hotlinkers and digital pirates,” said Will Bontrager, a software engineer and co-developer of HotlinkALARM.
HotlinkALARM was conceived by Bontrager, Willie Crawford and Patrick Pretty.
Will Bontrager began his software programming career in 1980, and has produced website software exclusively since 1997. Willie Crawford is a renowned online merchant and Internet Marketer who maintains hundeds of websites. Patrick Pretty is an online entrepreneur and founder of the Patrick Pretty line of digital information products.
“Not only does the unique Hotlink Alarm technology alert users via email when their digital images are being hotlinked, it also enables users to substitute the image being hotlinked with a customized message,” Crawford said.
“Visitors to the thieve’s website will see the substitute image, which alerts them that the hotlinker is using unauthorized images,” Crawford explained. “By employing the special PowerALARM technology built into HotlinkALARM, users can redirect traffic back to the website from which it was stolen.”
HotlinkALARM users receive the software, a default HotlinkALARM substitution graphic to alert visitors to the presence of unauthorized images, plus a package of six optional substitution images.
“Users of HotlinkALARM even can tailor a message they’d like visitors to the hotlinker’s website to see,” said Patrick Pretty. “Hotlink ALARM enables users to recapture traffic lost to hotlinkers, while empowering owners of the product to make a strong statement that they don’t take digital theft lightly.”
The email HotlinkALARM users receive when an unauthorized hotlink is detected includes the URL of the hotlinking web page, information on the type of file that’s being hotlinked, and other pertinent information.
A user of HotlinkALARM can use its built-in control panel to set the system to send an email each time a hotlink is detected or once a day.
“HotlinkALARM also is designed to protect against product theft,” Bontrager said. “Users can set the system to guard against the hotlinking of video, audio, JavaScript files, off-site CGI programs such as forms, and PDF and ZIP files,” Bontrager said.
“If a digital pirate hotlinks files, the owner of the files pays a double penalty,” Crawford said. “Not only does the theft result in lost sales, it often also means the owner is paying higher bandwidth costs because the files are plucked from the owner’s web server.”
Patrick Pretty, who specializes in Internet Marketing branding, said hotlinkers routinely try to gain an advantage by using the owner’s brand identity to create the appearance that a website is legitimate.
“A hotlinker often tries to trick website visitors by posting branded images that have been stolen,” Patrick Pretty said.
“They trade off of the hard work of the website owners and then send them a bill in the form of brand dilution and higher bandwidth charges.”
Also inluded with HotlinkALARM is “Image No Copy,” a software application that makes it difficult for thieves to copy images for exploitation later.
“Image No Copy gives Hotlink Alarm users an extra level of protection,” Bontrager said. “Our specialized technology frustrates thieves, especially when they see that the image they just tried to save to their computer desktop is not the one they thought they were saving.”
HotlinkALARM and its components came to life after the co- founders’ own businesses were affected by an online thief.
Willie Crawford is founder of the The Internet Marketing Inner Circle (TIMIC), a gathering place for online entrepreneurs.
Will Bontrager and Patrick Pretty are TIMIC members.
In October 2007, the members of TIMIC released “20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online,” an information product that became an instant bestseller.
On a Saturday morning shortly after the release of the product, “20 Ways” appeared in an unauthorized eBay listing.
The eBay seller had stolen the product, posting it for one- third of its retail price. And he hotlinked to the “20 Ways” website, stealing images and other intellectual property.
“People were posting postive feedback on eBay for a product that was stolen,” Willie Crawford said. “We set out to do something about it.”
“HotlinkALARM” and its components were the co-founders’ response to the growing problem of online theft.
“It’s time for hotlinkers and digital thieves to stop profiting at the expense of hard-working online merchants and producers of digital merchandise,” Bontrager said.
“Users of HotlinkALARM have an advantage over the pirates,” Bontrager said. “HotlinkALARM was designed to give users a victory over the thieves.”
I highly recommend that you get this product right now! You can get it by going to tomeymarketing.com/recommends/HotLinkAlarm

Willie Crawford Talks About Joint Venture Success January 11, 2008 04:55:49As part of the JointVentureSeeker.com package I have also interviewed Willie Crawford, and had a blast doing it.
Willie is an amazing man, and again someone who is FULL of information.
Here’s something you might not have known about Willie…
He didn’t start in Internet marketing….
He started with his site www.chitterlings.com way back in 96.
He was noticed on a forum because of his wealth of information about how he was marketing his www.chitterlings.com website.
You see, Willie is a REAL marketer. He didn’t create a how to make a bazillion dollars ebook to get “guru status”… He actually knows what he’s doing.
Willie shared a ton of great content. One of the little juicy tips he shared with me is this…
You can actually hurt yourself by having too many jv partners when it comes to jv product promotions.
I know that sounds crazy, but Willie explained it like this…
If you make your affiliate program or jv a closed type deal, you make it much more exclusive. Only allow partners a certain time frame that only they will be promoting.
You should approach your bigger names with this. Tell them that from x date to x date they wont have anyone else promoting, This gives them a better chance at making money.
It’s not always about huge product launches.
Willie also gave me a cool formula for getting a ton of jv partners…
1. Create your product…
2. Offer for less than $20
3. Pay 75%-80% commissions
You might lose on the front end but with a good backend you can really make bank by doing this because people like those big commissions.
Willie gave a ton of other great content too, and you can get the rest of his interview inside the Joint Venture Seeker package on February 7th by going to www.JointVentureSeeker.com
Willie also has an incredible site that he puts a lot of time and attention into at tomeymarketing.com/recommends/IMIC

Marketing Puddy January 11, 2008 04:24:04The other day I had the pleasure of interviewing Robert Puddy for my soon to be released www.JointVentureSeeker.com package.
Robert is a dear friend of mine, and someone I highly regard in the Internet marketing community. He’s got a very sharp mind for this stuff, and is just a wealth of knowledge.
In this interview Robert gave a TON of great information, but I want to tell you about two of them. Sorry, you’ll have to get the package when it’s released on February 7th from www.JointVentureSeeker.com to get the rest of the juicy information.
Come on… I am a marketer, right?
However, the two things I have to tell you are goodies…
First, Robert of course starts the interview telling about himself. And boy does Robert like to do that. Just kidding…
In this process without knowing it I think, Robert gave a complete blueprint for someone who is just starting out….
Step 1: Research - Don’t reinvent the wheel. Look around at what successful people are doing and copy their system.
Step 2: Start building your list and market products that are related to the interests of your list. If it’s IM products then market IM products. If it’s dog training then offer dog training products.
As you promote these products, contact the owners and start building a relationship with the.
Step 3: Create your own “thing”. Be it a membership site, product or whatever. Use those relationships you’ve built and get those who you’ve promoted for to promote for you.
Rinse and repeat….
You could do this in one niche or multiple niches.
Does it take work? Of course, but it doesn’t take much money, so if you’re just getting started, that three step system above could be a gold mine for you.
Robert, and I also talked about something else really cool…
Basically how to JV with a guru… Got your attention didn’t I?
We all know that Robert Puddy is a very well known marketer. So, how do you JV with guys like this?
Why not create something be it free or paid that compliments one of their products. Like with Robert… He has the LFM Script at LFMScript.com
If I were a know body I could create a full blown course on how to install and use his script (which totally rocks). Show him what I have and ask if he would promote it. Think he would? Heck yeah! It would save him a ton of time showing people how to use it, and it would make him a ton of money because he has a list of laser targeted buyers for that product.
So to get in a guru’s pocket, see if you can create something that can either be given away or sold that compliments one of their products. I’ll be doing this very soon with a well known name, so keep your eyes open for me to pull this trick…
That’s just two things from Robert’s interview. It totally rocked, and I hope you grab the JointVentureSeeker.com package and really listen to what Robert has to say.
One last note… Robert owns Advertising Know How which is like one great big list building JV. When he explained what the site does to me on the phone I couldn’t believe I wasn’t using it. I now have my account and highly recommend you get one too for free by going to tomeymarketing.com/recommends/AdvertisingKnowHow
You can read more and get to know Robert by going to RobertPuddy.com

A Few Cool Quotes… January 9, 2008 21:55:48Today, I was reading for fun. Yes, sometimes I do that. However, of course, I was reading marketing related stuff. I’m such an addict.
I found two quotes that really stood out to me, and I wanted to share them with you below…
You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great…
Zig Ziglar
Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.
What do I want to accomplish by giving you these two quotes.
Well I hope that they reach out and smack you upside your head to make you start doing something.
I want you to do something today, no matter how small that gets you on the path to success. If you’re already on that path do something small or large that can get you even further down that path!
Memorize these two quotes…

Meeting Frank Sousa January 4, 2008 22:16:17Today I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Frank Sousa. I’d always heard that Frank was a really nice guy, but as soon as you hear Frank’s voice, you know you’re dealing with a super nice guy.
I was in the middle of some product creation stuff and needed an link immediately to be able to finish the product up. I had my affiliate manager (and husband too) Jamie Bing call Frank up and get the affiliate link.
In no time Frank had me hooked up, and told me tons about his product too to help me better educate my readers. Frank knows I’m a “content queen” so he filled me full of content.
Why am I telling you this?
First off to give Frank a “shout out” for helping me out, and second to show you that picking up the phone and helping someone is a great way to build your business.
I’ll be promoting Frank’s product now. I know a lot about it (even more than before), and Frank even told me about something else that would be good for my readers. So, potentially Frank is going to get two promotions from me, and now that I’ve talked to him personally he can pick up the phone any time he needs to and I’ll help him out.
I keep preaching about relationship building, and this is just case in point.
No Frank’s not my best bud now, but we’ve both started the foundation to a great relationship that I’m sure will benefit us both greatly now and in the future.
So, pick up the phone today and give someone a call. No, don’t waste their time. Have something you want to help them with, and work on giving before you get!
That’s the key to my success in this business and if you really grasp anything I teach you, this needs to be the biggy. Give before you get, and you’ll get A LOT!
Checkout the video below to watch Frank Kern use Frank’s Traffic Geyser software to ROCK the search engines!

Review Of Fast Money Auctions - Fernando Limido June 23, 2007 03:22:24The following is a review of my new “Fast Money Auctions” (www.FastMoneyAuctions.com)product from one of my www.ProfitQuickies.com members. I’ve never gotten such a great a detailed review of one of my products, so I wanted to post it here so everyone could see a totally non-biased review of the product!
Liz,
I’m going to be honest with you : this is the strangest book I’ve ever read. Then again, I believe it’s also one of the most useful, witty, down-to-earth approaches to internet marketing I’ve been in contact with in a long time.
The core of this book deals with a principle that most of us have heard in one way or another, but never quite follow : identify those who are already succesful at what you do; determine exactly how they do it and then apply what you’ve learnt to your own efforts – or even better, replicate and improve on it where you can.
If I had truly understood this a couple of years ago and let this principle guide me, I believe it might have turned out to be my most valuable asset in this business. At the begining, the step-by-step plan you laid out and the great tips that went along with it, made me feel confident in the path ahead.
However, when I expected you to start elaborating abstract theories and complicated concepts, you went the other way round…and I loved you for it. At this point, I felt I was right next to you while you were planning your next move on ebay.
Suddenly, you were telling me precisely where to look, whose moves to analyze and how to do it, what products to sell, exactly what tools you use and where to find them…It was like being inside the head of a powerseller. Also, I found the “techniques” very straightforward and easy to put into practice, even for someone with little experience on ebay, like myself. What’s more important: they’re already proven to be highly effective. The analysis of the different ebay sellers was extremely thorough, but concise enough to make the reading enjoyable.
True: as a complete ebay “newbie”, there was a couple of times when I felt a little lost. Sometimes, I didn’t know exactly what you were referring to or I was just trying to figure out in which part of the page it was. However, I could catch up pretty easily, thanks to the abundance of examples and detailed explanations you provided further on.
Anyway, for the “insider look” you let me grasp, the new possibilities you opened for me, and the accurate analysis you showed me and taught me how to emulate, this is a book for which I’d pay many times its price. No doubt about that. Thank you Liz, for letting me be one of the first to have access to your work.
Fernando Limido
PS: I found the bonus of great value and a very good match for the book. Also, it provided me with a couple of interesting twists to a very popular strategy I’m currently using.
You can get your copy of Fast Money Auctions For Only $9.95 at www.FastMoneyAuctions.com

Puke Fest Time… June 22, 2007 02:37:38After coming back from a wonderful weekend where I got to spend some time with my dad, I’m hit with tons and tons of different emails pushing some hype filled sales letter that really made me… well… sick…
Check this out… tomeymarketing.com/recommends/TotalBlackHat
Can you believe all the hype that’s packed into that sales letter?
First, they guru bash. You listen to me, and a guru is defined as someone who is an expert in their niche. I’d say that’s me, so why is it bad to be a guru? Then, they talk about a BILLION dollar well that you can suck dry. Then they go on with many other hype filled marketing tactics…
Reading that sales letter is like eating too much cotton candy and then hopping on the “Tilt-O-Whirl”. It just makes you want to puke. Blah…
Here’s the the thing though. If you can get past that hype filled monster of a sales letter, and have the guts to put what they are teaching to work for you, the product actually rocks. I got a review copy of it and read it over the weekend.
I read the sales letter and almost didn’t promote it, but after reading the actual product, I had to save some of you from clicking off the sales page and missing out on the only product online that actually reveals black hat Adsense techniques.
The one thing that hype filled sales letter is right about is that no one is teaching this stuff. A lot of this stuff is down right underhanded. Nothing that would hurt anyone or that is illegal, but stuff you really wouldn’t want your name attached to!
So, if you can get passed the hype, and want to either build Adsense sites for insane profits or really drive an insane amount of traffic to your site, just go to tomeymarketing.com/recommends/TotalBlackHat and get your copy of Project Black Mask. You don’t even have to read the sales letter. These are tactics that work, but that are very black hat.
You’ve been warned…
On another note… I have gotten a huge response for the bonus and blog post I made about Brian Edmundson’s 15K in 7 Days product ( tomeymarketing.com/recommends/15in7 ) If you missed the post where I told you how to make more m.oney from a tiny list, you can see it at tomeymarketing.com/im-truth-newsletter/making-big-cash-from-tiny-lists You’ll also see the bonus I offered too! Thank you all for the awesome feedback and glad you enjoyed that!

Guru Bashing Madness June 21, 2007 00:01:50Last night I promoted a product that had some guru bashing in the sales letter. (You can see what I’m talking about at ) I had just gotten off the phone with my friend Keith Wellman and we were talking about all those sales letters out there that bash gurus and say how they are hiding this and that from you…
First off, there’s nothing to hide. The secret is, that there is NO big secret…
Second off, what makes a guru bad?
Someone who is an expert in their niche and teaches others about that niche. I do that… Does that make me a guru? Does that make me some kind of monster?
I certainly hope not because I work VERY hard to educate people in my niche and teach them how to make money in my niche. I give away a load more information than I charge for, and give out way more content to my list compared to promotional content, so just why are gurus bad?
I’ll tell you why…
Because it makes good promotional copy, and that’s it.
Yes, there are bad people out there, and there are people who are going to rip you off, but most well known gurus aren’t going to do that. They couldn’t even if they wanted to because they are too well known. It would ruin their business. If they were bad people to start off with, they would have never become gurus.
Do you think Mike Filsaime, Michael Campbell, Jo Han Mok, Jimmy D Brown, and the likes would have all made it had they been cons. Well, they are all gurus. Probably at least one of them that you follow and listen to. These are 4 of my all time favorite marketers and I’m sure you have your favorites.
List them and tell me how many are cons and are trying to keep secrets from you…
Now think of people who have really ripped you off. Probably those people who bash the gurus!
So before you start guru bashing the next time, think of what you’re really saying and maybe express yourself a little better next time!

So before you start guru bashing the next time, think of what you’re really saying and maybe express yourself a little better next time!

What The Heck Is This Web 2.0 Stuff Anyway… June 14, 2007 17:29:30We’ve been talking about web 2.0 traffic tactics for the last several months. I’ve gotten a few emails asking me to explain what web 2.0 is and why it’s so important.
So, let’s first talk about WHAT web 2.0 is, and then I’ll tell you why it’s important.
To get the exact definition of web 2.0 you can see what Wikipedia has to say about it by going to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2
The Liz Tomey version of web 2.0 is…
“Anything that you can “do” to interact with other users while promoting your business.”
So, take for example social bookmarking sites. You can interact with thousands (in the case of MySpace millions) of different people and there are tactics that you can use to promote your business to those people.
Another example are video directories like YouTube, Blip.TV, vSocial, and MANY more. These are sites filled with users who watch videos. They could be watching YOUR visitors and by using the right tactics, you could have them coming to YOUR site.
Now, I could go on and on with examples, but I’ll get to web 2.0 tactics in another post.
So, why is this “web 2.0 stuff” so important? Because it’s easy and most of the time free to reach a wide audience of targeted people. It’s like throwing out a HUGE net and getting all the fish you can with each tactic that you use.
Now this is all important because now like never before, you have the chance to get REAL traffic pretty easy, and most of the time VERY quickly.
Just take a look at this screenshot. This is just a little blog that I run for testing…
As you can see in the screenshot, on the days that I am implementing web 2.0 tactics, I am doubling my traffic.
This alone should show you why you should be web 2.0′ing RIGHT NOW!
How did I learn all of this? From Jack Humphrey’s Friday Traffic Report site on blog marketing, his Authority Blackbook, and Ross Goldberg’s Traffic Hurricane step-by-step web 2.0 video tutorials.
Now my secret is out…
